The controller health score is a composite rating from 0 to 100 calculated from five weighted diagnostic categories. Button Response accounts for 25 percent and is based on the Quick Test results. Stick Accuracy accounts for 25 percent and is calculated from the drift detection data. Trigger Precision accounts for 20 percent and measures analog trigger performance. Dead Zone Quality accounts for 15 percent and evaluates stick centering accuracy. Input Latency accounts for 15 percent and is measured from the Latency Test. A score above 90 is Excellent, 70 to 90 is Good, 50 to 70 is Fair, and below 50 indicates Poor controller condition that may need repair.

This is extremely useful for comparing a new controller against an older one to see how much the inputs have degraded over time. You can also use it to compare wired versus wireless latency on the same controller model, or to help diagnose which of two controllers has stick drift. To use Comparison Mode, switch to it using the mode selector, then connect and press buttons on each controller in turn. Player 1 and Player 2 panels will each show live stick data, button inputs, triggers, and an individual health score.
